Accomplishments in Organic Certification

Three Decades of Sustainable Growth at Friendship Specialty Mushroom Farm

Friendship Specialty Mushroom Farm was established in 1992 and has a history of nearly 30 years. After years of development, the farm has developed a mature operational system that includes independent production of organic mushroom substrate, scientific cultivation of organic oyster mushrooms, manual mushroom harvesting, trimming, and packaging, as well as cold chain transportation. Currently, the farm is working on improving the systematic promotion and integrated company operations for high-quality after-sales service, aiming to provide our customers with more comprehensive assistance.

Located in Chilliwack, British Columbia, the farm covers nearly 10 acres of land, including over 50,000 square feet of mushroom-growing houses and two cold storage units. This setup allows for a monthly production of 40,000 pounds of oyster mushrooms, ensuring a steady supply to meet customer demands. The farm has achieved organic product certification from both Canada and the province of British Columbia for consecutive 10 years, and in the past 3 years, it has obtained food quality and safety certifications, further guaranteeing the quality and safety of its products.

Thanks to our efforts, Friendship Specialty Mushroom Farm has gained a reputation in the oyster mushroom industry in Vancouver and throughout British Columbia. Our products are distributed to supermarkets and restaurants across various provinces and cities in Canada.
